Vivanta Coimbatore
The Coimbatore edition of Building the Nation was organised by CRN India in association with Dell Technologies and Intel, on September 24, 2025, at Vivanta Coimbatore, drawing the participation of 65+ channel partners. The session underscored how Dell and Intel, together with their partner ecosystem, are enabling businesses to embrace next-generation AI-powered PCs powered by the Intel Ultra chips.
The session began with a welcome note by Praveen Kumar, Director & Founder, Qbic Catalyst Partners Pvt Ltd, who underlined the growing importance of the partner ecosystem in helping businesses embrace digital transformation. He then handed over to Clint Carvallo of Dell Technologies and M.S. Dinesh Kumar of Intel for their respective sessions.
Setting the tone, Clint Carvallo, Sales Director – India Small Businesses, Dell Technologies, highlighted the scale of transformation ahead. He shared, “By 2028, 90% of PCs will be AI PCs. We already have ecosystems built to run AI workloads seamlessly.” He emphasised how Dell’s evolving portfolio and its AI Factory framework, combining infrastructure, software, and services, are geared toward helping organisations adopt AI-native infrastructure and GenAI applications at scale. Carvallo also spoke about Dell’s RISE Program, designed to reward and motivate partners by simplifying incentives, automatically tracking points, and providing opportunities to earn bonus rewards for focus product categories, directly boosting partner profitability. He also noted Coimbatore’s thriving ecosystem of over 80,000 MSMEs, which includes ~12,000 SMEs, positioning the city as a hub of opportunity for the channel partners.
From Intel’s perspective, M.S. Dinesh Kumar, State Business Manager, Intel, explained how silicon innovation is enabling this shift. “The Intel Core Ultra is powered by NPU, designed to deliver trillions of operations per second, which ensures AI workloads run efficiently on-device,” he said. He further pointed out that Intel is investing heavily in industries like banking, retail, healthcare, software, and telecom, creating new avenues for partners to engage with customers. Dinesh also highlighted the Intel Partner Alliance Programme, which empowers partners with training, certifications, marketing support, and incentive structures that reward them for selling across Intel’s broad portfolio of products along with Dell’s.
Dell showcased its newly launched AI-powered PC portfolio, i.e., Dell, Dell Pro, and Dell Pro Max, designed with built-in NPUs (Neural Processing Units) to handle AI workloads directly on the device. These next-generation PCs enable faster, more secure, and energy-efficient execution of tasks like transcription, content creation, and data analysis without always relying on the cloud. These AI PCs combine enterprise-grade performance with user-friendly design, helping businesses improve productivity, strengthen data privacy, and reduce operational costs while staying future-ready. This enables faster execution, stronger privacy, and reduced reliance on connectivity. Features like Microsoft Copilot, AI-driven noise suppression, auto-framing for video calls, and enhanced security are now embedded directly into the PC experience, delivering enterprise-grade benefits to small businesses.
Also the highlight was the new Dell Pro Essential series, which is business-ready and affordable, starting at ₹31,999. It is designed for everyday business needs. Despite its affordability, Essentials doesn’t compromise on performance. It offers robust security, Full HD+ displays with a 16:10 aspect ratio, up to 10 hours of battery life, and MIL-STD-810G military-grade durability, ideal for the Gen Z workforce and SMEs alike. Plus, it supports open standards, ensuring compatibility with all peripherals, monitors, headsets, and more.
By bringing together Dell’s AI-driven frameworks and Intel’s silicon-level innovation, the Coimbatore edition of the event reinforced how AI PCs are set to redefine productivity and competitiveness for MSMEs and enterprises in the region.
